HISTORY
The Century Club was conceived in 1981 by former National Chairman Shelby Lanier, President of the Louisville Black Police Association. The organization was nurtured by the late Charles "Chuck" Taylor. The purpose of the Century Club is to offer an additional source of support for the NBPA.

The Century Club is made up of individual members of the NBPA, who wish to show additional commitment to the organization. Century Club members pay a one-time fee of $300, for entry into this exclusive club. It is an obligation of all National Board members to join the Century Club, but all NBPA members are welcome to join.
